Millions of children live as 'orphans' who are not orphans at all
Around the world, 80-90% of children living in orphanages have one or both parents still alive. Poverty, corruption and oppression have pushed children into orphanages because families believed it was their only or best option. Since the trauma of family separation for a child is long-lasting, there is a global movement away from this type of care.
Our goal is for children to be safely placed into forever families.
